Ivy Mervis, BS

Master's Student Intern

Opening yourself up to someone takes a lot of courage; we all need the space to feel heard and understood. I’m here to provide a unique, safe and peaceful space to discuss feelings, anxieties, thoughts, hopes and dreams leaving you feeling enhanced and supported.

I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2021 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I am currently a third year masters student at Duquesne University, just a few steps away from graduating with a Masters in Marriage, Couple, & Family Counseling.

From a clinical perspective, my therapeutic framework tends to be Person-Centered, Emotion-Focused, and Family Systems - I recognize that you are the expert of your own lived experiences. My goal is to collaborate with you, help you work through difficult emotions, change thought patterns, and support personal growth.

Ivy will begin her internship with us in September 2024 and will be seeing clients for a reduced rate or pro bono for folks with insurances we do not take or with high deductibles.
