I am so excited to be on your team and tackle this journey with you!
Life is full of challenges. My 15+ years of being an athlete has taught me that none of us have to face challenges alone. I want to be on your team and help you tackle whatever life throws your way, because you don’t have to face it alone either.
My approach to counseling is client-focused. My main concern is my client and making them feel supported. Identity, emotional well-being, and the different systems we exist within are what influence how we live our lives- how we connect with others, how we view and connect with ourselves, and how we make decisions.
My background in athletics has taught me about communication, the importance of having support, and knowing when to ask for help. I also live with endometriosis, which gives me unique perspective on women’s concerns as I live and navigate these issues myself.
I earned my bachelor’s in psychology with a minor in exercise science from Seton Hill University, where I was also a NCAA Division II athlete, in 2021. I then went on to receive a master’s in Sports Psychology from PennWest University in 2023. I am now in the fieldwork portion of my master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling from PennWest once again.
While my special interests are in sports and performance counseling, I am eager to work with anyone and everyone. My main hope and goal is to create a space where you are always welcome and feel supported, where you can explore who you are in a safe and judgment free zone.
