I am so excited and thankful for this new adventure we are on with Congruent Relationships! I've wanted to take my love for teaching, supervising, and clinical work and mix them into one project, and here we are!
I received my masters degree from Seton Hill University in 2014 and my PhD in Counselor Education in 2020. I have been working in the mental health field in Western PA since 2013 in a variety of organizations ranging from family based to outpatient mental health. I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania, and I am also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.
Most of my work has been with the LGBTQ community in Pittsburgh, and a passion of mine is providing advocacy for and awareness to the needs of this marginalized group of individuals.
I am currently in the process of pursuing and submitting certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
